I’m Rosemary Del Prado, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential—whether they’re navigating challenges or simply aiming to grow. With over 30 years of experience in education, including homeschooling my own son, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of learners. I love partnering with families on their unique educational journeys.
I hold professional teacher licensure in Florida and New Jersey, a post-baccalaureate certification in Instruction and Curriculum, a master’s degree in Educational Psychology, and specialized training in educational therapy. My background spans public and private schools, homeschool communities, and a nonprofit serving K–12 students.
As a third-grade teacher in New Jersey, I once asked my supervisor,
“Why do you always place the students with the biggest challenges in my class?”
He smiled and said,
“Because you’re so good with them.”
That moment stayed with me.
I taught in mainstream classrooms with students of all kinds—some who excelled, some who needed encouragement, and others who required extra support. I found myself especially drawn to understanding how different students think and learn. That curiosity sparked my journey into more specialized approaches that benefit all kinds of learners.
I still remember my students:
David, whose ADHD made him both brilliant and complex
William, who processed things differently but never gave up
Carlos, who made me laugh even when the work felt hard
Vivienne, a struggling reader who inspired my early interest in visual processing
My path expanded when I began delivering a brain-based intervention program—PACE (Processing and Cognitive Enhancement)—in a medical practice. That opportunity launched me into the world of cognitive intervention, educational therapy, and specialized learning support, and I never looked back.
Since then, I’ve continued to grow my expertise through advanced training in:
✅ PACE (Processing and Cognitive Enhancement) – foundational and advanced training in strengthening core cognitive learning skills
✅ Educational Therapy through the National Institute for Learning Development & Edu-Therapeutics
(includes dyslexia intervention)
✅ Structured Literacy through the AIM Institute and Ascend Smarter
✅ Cognitive Development using movement-based methods with The Learning Breakthrough Program
✅ Brain-Based Instruction through BrainSmart
✅ Phono-Graphix for phonetic-linguistic reading instruction
✅ Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) for structured, scaffolded writing instruction
✅ Executive Function Coaching through CEF Coaching & the Executive Functions Coaching Academy
Supporting All Learners
Whether your child is an advanced student, someone who needs extra help, or falls somewhere in between, I bring a whole-person approach that blends research-backed methods with heart. My goal is to build academic growth, cognitive strength, confidence, and independence—helping each student thrive in both school and life.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. If we work together—whether for a single consultation or ongoing support—I want you to feel confident in not just my background, but also my heart for helping students succeed.
