Comprehensive Testing & Support for Your Child’s Success
All diagnostic and achievement testing I offer is conducted with care, sensitivity, and precision—ensuring accurate results while helping your child feel at ease. Each assessment is research-based, standardized, and normed to reflect real-world benchmarks, providing reliable and meaningful insights into your child’s learning strengths and challenges. These results can guide important next steps, such as targeted support, enrichment opportunities, school accommodations, or referral to a licensed psychologist for formal evaluation and legal diagnosis when appropriate.
Available Tests:
Wide Range Achievement Test, Fifth Edition (WRAT-5): A quick measure of fundamental academic skills, including word reading, sentence comprehension, spelling, and math computation. The WRAT-5 can also be used as a screener/preliminary diagnostic tool to determine if additional comprehensive testing is needed. It is also an approved Step-Up scholarship assessment.
Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement, Third Edition (KTEA-3): A thorough academic assessment that evaluates reading, writing, math, and oral language skills. It is also an approved Step-Up scholarship assessment.
Test of Dyslexia (TOD): A comprehensive assessment that identifies dyslexia risk and patterns of reading difficulty.
Gibson Test of Cognitive Skills: An assessment that examines cognitive strengths and weaknesses in areas such as working memory, processing speed, auditory processing, and reasoning.
Mindprint Cognitive Assessment: A research-backed, online assessment that identifies a student’s learning strengths and challenges across executive function, memory, processing speed, and reasoning skills.

easyCBM: A k-8 curriculum-based measure that reveals a student's skills in real-time tasks that look more like classroom work.
Other Testing Measures: Assessments that provide insight into phonological processing, reading fluency, comprehension, spelling, and executive functioning.

Using a combination of testing instruments allows for a more comprehensive understanding of your child’s academic achievement and cognitive strengths. Using more than one instrument also allows us to identify patterns and provide confirmation across domains, strengthening the reliability of the overall assessment.
Each tool contributes a unique perspective—whether assessing specific learning skills, processing abilities, or overall performance—helping to build a well-rounded profile that supports accurate recommendations and informed next steps.
